Spider-Man 2 will receive a huge update on March 7, called 1.002. This update will provide the New Game Plus feature that many people have been waiting for, which will allow you to play the game again at a higher difficulty while retaining your suits and abilities.
Who said that?
James Stephenson of Insomniac Games, the developers of the game, said in a post on the game’s blog: “We know that many of you would love to play the game again on a harder level, and want to keep your suits and abilities.”
What else is there in the update?
Free new suits tied to Peter’s symbiote story.
New suits for Peter and Miles Morales.
Improvements to accessibility options, such as audio descriptions and screen readers.
Is there a need to pay?
A new suit pack called “Fly N’ Fresh” will be available for $4.99 USD.
Proceeds from the bundle’s sales in America will support the Gameheads Foundation.
Profits from sales of the package in Australia will go to Sony’s treasury.
If we wait a while, we can play with the suits for free after the exclusivity period ends.
Spider-Man 2, currently exclusive to PS5, was critically acclaimed, winning Best PlayStation and Best Action Adventure awards at the 2023 Game of the Year Awards.
